Katie Travis and Esther Terpenning will be running a marathon in June for Beacon House children ..... THANK YOU 

Childhood pals Esther Terpenning and Katie Travis will be running the Grandma's Marathon in Duluth MN this June.  They have chosen to raise money for Beacon House. Katie lived in Accra in the fall of 2012 working as a teacher at Beacon House's morning pre-school and in the after school music program.

Ursula in Vea holding a 1 1/2 year old weighing 10 lbs. He is visiting his birth family after gaining weight. He was near death after the death of his birth mother. The family was greatly encouraged by seeing how well he is doing. Beacon House has been able to provide diapers, food, clothes to help him recover. Thank you for your help. You are helping save lives!
