Day 17 of thankfulness.

Today Benjamin is thankful to God for healing him.

Benjamin spent the last 4 days at Police Hospital. We are happy he is well and home again.

Day 16 of thankfulness.

Today Venuye is thankful for all the outdoor toys (balls,bikes,skipping ropes, etc) she gets to play with.

We enjoyed celebrating all those at Beacon House born in the month of November .... Happy birthday to Maxwell, Mercy and Abigail!

Day 14 of thankfulness.

Today Fati is thankful for the beautiful clothes and shoes she has.

Day 15 of thanfulness.

Today Daniel is thankful for the fact that the lights have not gone off for three days. 

Last week, Beacon House had no electricity EVERY morning/afternoon making it difficult for those, like Daniel, who are schooling on the premises to complete their computer based school work (Switched-On Schoolhouse) since their computers only have one hour battery life.

Dan is thankful to Aunty Charlotte for preparing some jollof rice for Maxwell's birthday.

Today Joshua is thankful for the toys he gets to play with.

Today Benjamin is thankful for the fact that he has a comfortable bed to sleep in (Benjamin arrived at Beacon House last week).

Maxwell is thankful for the new friend, Benjamin, who arrived at Beacon House yesterday evening. Akwaaba Benjamin  :)

Zoey and Cesar.

Introducing Zoey (mix Doberman and Boer bull) and Cesar (Bull Terrier) .... the latest 'kids' at Beacon House. The two puppies are adopting well and providing much entertainment! Lots of time is being spent on puppy training .... well behaved dogs make for great companions.

Today Kofi is thankful for the fact that Ebola is not in Ghana.

Today Zenabu is thankful to God for healing her from the headache she had over the weekend.

Today Jennifer is thankful for the fact that she is able to attend school. Before coming to Beacon House, Jennifer never went to school.

Japan Festival.

We enjoyed attending the Ghana Japan Festival today. The girls were taught how to put on a kimono and we participated in an origami workshop. 

Happy Birthday Abigail !!

The children have taken up a 30 days of thankfulness challenge!! Every day a child will have a chance to express what they are grateful for.

Today Abigail is thankful for turning 20 years of age. She is thankful to nurse Sophie for bringing a delicious cake and the Beacon House family for celebrating with her and making it a wonderful day.
